HKScan organised a business forum

On 26 October, the first HKScan Business Forum took place in Tallinn. During the event the representatives of Estonian retail chains and globally renowned retail experts discussed consumer behaviour trends and the perspectives of e-commerce.

At the event that was organised with the help of PR Strategies, two top experts were invited to introduce the recent developments of the retail world: dr Pekka Mattila from Aalto University Business School who talked about rhythm economy and Nick Kirby from the Brittish consultancy company Bridgethorne who discussed the perspectives of e-commerce.

HKScan Estonia's Managing Director anne Mere also made a presentation describing the current state of the Estonian meat production and global trends that affect the operations of production companies.

At the event, a surprise performance was made by a well-known Estonian comic actor Juss Haasmaa who portrayed the much-loved figure of Reet Pull, a simple and strong woman from the Estonian island of Saaremaa. She talked about the retail methods that work well on her as a consumer and what she would like to see sold on a perfect meat stand in every retail store.

HKScan Business Forum took place at the highest conference hall in Tallinn in the rooftop restaurant Horisont on the 30th floor of Swissotel Tallinn.
